North Sea decommissioning

As a prudent and responsible operator, CNR International (U.K.) Limited (CNRI) initiated the planning for the decommissioning of the Ninian Northern Platform in the UK sector of the North Sea in 2016. This website will support the key stakeholder consultation process and keep parties informed of progress.

CNRI will be using the initial pre-planning time to identify the best decommissioning arrangement for the platform, balancing environmental, societal, technical, safety and economic aspects. We will consult early, widely and transparently as part of our rigorous planning process in order to propose the most appropriate decommissioning options.
